WHAT’S A SHAMAN?

A Shaman or Energy Healer works on the energy centers of the body (seals, chakras) to rebalance and restore the the flow of energy in the body. Recognizes that every single illness has a spiritual component in which we have a physical, emotional, mental and spiritual connection. If one of these is out of balance, we can start experimenting a maladjustment in the electromagnetic field (Aura). These energy centers are not physical. They interact with the physical body through two major vehicles, the endocrine system and the nervous system. In general, different conditions can be treated; physical(diabetes, cancer, etc), mental (depression, anxiety, multiple personalities), emotional (traumas, lost of someone, tiredness, etc) spiritual (reconnection with the purpose of life).

In order to communicate with the spirit or consciousness of these things, the shaman will shift his own state of awareness. Shamans can do this through various means, such as meditation, sounds, clairvoyance, or through the the help of hallucinogenic plants. The Shaman will see you on a higher spiritual level.

Misplaced energy will be removed. Negative emotions you may feel, or were sent at you and are stuck or stored in the body.

The Shaman re-empowers you by removing the energy that doesn’t belong within your body.

A Shaman utilizes multiple ways of healing techniques, each patient is different so the therapies are personalized.

The teaching of detachment, and letting go of one’s ego is a central lesson for the Shaman.

A soul retrieval is a powerful spiritual practice that heals soul loss. Soul loss can occur whenever we have trauma in our life. For example, we may experience soul loss if we are in an accident, undergo a serious operation or if we suddenly lose a close friend or family member.

Among the Quechua Indians, the despacho ceremony is the centerpiece of their spiritual and ritualistic heritage. When the locals go to see a Shaman, whether they go in search of better health, a more loving relationship, or healing from grief, the first thing often done is a despacho.

Despacho rituals are designed to align, balance and harmonize the three levels of consciousness: Yankay (the physical universe), Yachay (the spirit or wisdom center), and Munay (the feeling or heart center). In building your own bundle or despacho, you are bringing all aspects of your consciousness into the process. You are entering an altered state of consciousness that is alignment with all these energy centers.
